Fitting Instructions

The Horizontal SolaPlug enables up to 4m² of flat plate collector or 30

large tubes to be connected to an existing hot water cylinder, significantly

reducing the cost of a solar installation.

The heat exchanger is sufficiently effective to almost match the perform-

ance of a solar coil.

When fitted to indirect cylinders, the installation is unlikely to have dedi-

cated solar volume, but with the correct backup heating timing perform-

ance will be very close to a new twin coil cylinder.

The homeowner should be aware of the need for correct back up heating

timing to optimise performance.
